In the 1970s, geographer Bill Bunge, took his students on an “urban expedition” through the inner city streets of Detroit. Bungee was an academic, a professor of geography. I learned about him during my geography studies. His concept was tantalizing. Treating the urban environment like a uncharted territory in a far away place. Yesterday I began my own urben expedition in the inner city of Winnipeg. This is beginning only of Part 1. I went out with THE Camera Club for a little Urban Exploration yesterday of some urban graffiti art.

Online Photo Courses Just for You
I’ve had a ton of feedback on my photo classes and workshops – all of it very positive – beyond MY expectations! 🙂
But the one thing that I struggle with is coordinating the days that people prefer, some love the weekends, others week nights. Others find the afternoons better. The workshops are of different lengths depending on the subject, some are 1 day some are 3 days.
A new day a new year
On new year’s day I went for a drive, through the back roads of course! There are a few regular places I drive by now and then, thinking I really should photograph them …one day. But on this day, the first day of the new year. I DID it.Continue Reading
