Arrived in Banff to spend one night so I could meet the bus that takes the group to the helipad at 7:00 am. I decided to splurge- so I spent the night at the storied Banff Springs Hotel.

This is a serious hotel! If you saw The Shining (by Steven King) you’ve seen the Banff Springs Hotel! Well not exactly, but it’s of the same ilk as the wicked Overlook Hotel in the movie (and book.)  Ultra service – cool architecture, and perhaps even a ghost or two.
