Here we are again, another completed cycle around the sun. Time to reflect, take stock, make plans and goals. Give thanks, be grateful, and embrace all we have and all we are, as 2014 transitions into 2015. Time gets a bit more compressed as we get older so learning to ride the essence of time is really critical as the Future is unwrapped before us. I have to learn to do this better. Hiking in the mountains is ultimately rewarding. The views and sense of place keep you solidly in the moment. And you can always go just a little higher. The hole at the end of the world
It was an easy hike. around a glacial lake shore, through a wildflower meadow, and along the bed of a rushing creek. But once I rounded that bend, what i saw was not what I expected.
