Astounding!
That’s all I can say. I finally got around to working on my mountain photos. I had some time to work on them while at my parent’s this past week. It helped kept me from getting too depressed – but in betweeen business meetings and lawyers etc, photography was a welcome distraction.

DAY ONE
Arrived in Banff to spend one night so I could meet the bus that takes the group to the helipad at 7:00 am. I decided to splurge- so I spent the night at the storied Banff Springs Hotel.

This is a serious hotel! If you saw The Shining (by Steven King) you’ve seen the Banff Springs Hotel! Well not exactly, but it’s of the same ilk as the wicked Overlook Hotel in the movie (and book.) Ultra service – cool architecture, and perhaps even a ghost or two. Unfortunately I won’t be staying long enough to fully explore it but I may be back!Continue Reading
