Ok, so the spring was horrible and rainy and the month of June has been more than soggy but

My house “in the sticks” is the home to more than 7 bird nests! A few get reused every year, but I don’t know enough about bird behaviour to know if it’s the same pair each year returning or if they are merely “squatters” inhabiting the last year’s nests.

The big move
Not an earthquake but almost as monumental a move! I have boxes and I am in full “throw out mode.” It’s all going. Yes, I’m finally preparing for the big move.
Looking forward to this being the last winter in this place. Right now all that’s going trashward are books – if you want books let me know, but otherwise they are going to be donated to the Book Fair. I am really getting into this now 🙂
