Welcome to Monday! I hope you had a chance to relax and take in weekend. After that little mini-blizzard I got some pretty great newsthat I’d almost forgotten about.
It seems I again won the Best Trophy Shot AND Best Intimate Details Shot in the CMH John Marriott Photo Workshop back in August. Competition was tougher this year as there were 2 photo groups competing.
And you know how much I love to show off – so I was eager to get my images in to the competition.
Here’s one of my winners – wet rock patterns high up in the Bugaboos.
I loved the colours (all natural – no Photoshop), and the weird abstract patterns. The relentless rain was a bit of a benefit as it saturated the colours and made them really intense. I have no idea what type of rock this is but I was transfixed none the less.
I’m happy the judges were as well. 🙂 You can see all the contest images here, including some of my other ones that didn’t win.
Man, I can’t wait to get back there again……. sigh….
