Valentine’s Day has always seemed a rather fake and forced way to acknowledge love. But since it is the day, thought I’d do something that linked hearts and photography. Seems besides loving your Nikon there’s not much out there that could do the job. But I did find some great old romantically tinged tunes about the bond between relationships and photographs.
These might inspire or depress you – but they all speak to the power of a photograph to reach into our souls. Handle it with care 🙂
1) Ryan Adams, Memories of You (Ryan Adams has become a fav again!)

2) Luba, Everytime I See Your Picture I Cry (80’s chicks really knew how to belt out a tune!)
3) Jim Croce, Photographs and Memories (Beware, this one could hurt!)
4) Simon & Garfunkel, Bookends
5) The Cure, Pictures of You (the greats of goth at their best!)

From your selections, I bet you are from the same generation as me. You must remember Wishing, by A Flock of Seagulls, it should be on your list.
