Earlier this week I sent an email out to the keen photographers who have signed up for the pre-sales list for the Nikon Capture NX2 Guide for Infrared Photographers.
I detailed the status of the project and the release date for this necessary manual if you are a Nikon infrared photographer. It’s really exciting, I have had so many inquiries and now that the pre-release is close I think all the infrared aficionados are also getting into the anticipation! It’s certainly spurring me on to complete it quickly and perhaps to even get it out ahead of schedule.
What is this manual all about? I’ve discovered that as great as Photoshop is for post processing infrared photos, it is missing one crucial thing that Nikon Captures NX has. And this makes a total and 360° difference in the ability of Photoshop to really leverage your IR files to be all they can be. Who knew kludgy Nikon Capture would be the hero when it comes to IR photography! (You may already have Nikon Capture and not been able to figure it out – it’s not intuitive!) so now you’ll be able to get some real value from an otherwise frustrating bit of software. AND boost your IR images into a new level of artistry.
If you would also like to get on the pre-sales list to get this manual before the general public AND get a discount you can register here.
Here in Canada, most of us will be celebrating a long weekend – cottages, beaches, camping – absorbing every moment of this glorious summer time. So have a great weekend, regardless of what your plans are. We’ll catch up again next week! (highfive)
