With the provincial PPOC Image Salon judging happening this weekend, I thought I’d share some of my iPhone apps for photography with you. (part of my evil shameless self promotion tactic this week, hehehehe!). I have 3 folders with nothing but photo apps organized by function soContinue Reading
Amazing young photographers
The photography classes at the elementary schools are finished. I’m exhausted but exhilarated – these kids are amazing! Goofy, cute, smart and attentive, and above all creative bundles of imagination.Continue Reading
On Valentine’s Day…
I LOVE Nikon. In the middle of an albeit mild winter they announce the new Nikon D800 – the camera I have patiently been waiting for for 5 years!!! A great Valentine’s gift to be sure!
It will be a great birthday present too even if it will be a month or more late in arriving. It will give me time to sell some gear to raise the cash for the $3000 (US). 🙂 Wanna buy a very gently used Nikon D300 – I have 2 – you can pick the one you like best! Contact me for the scoop.Continue Reading

Photograph of the Day
The Professional Photographers of Canada selected my image Lucky Strike the image of the day – February 12th or 14th I think. The date they gave me was 124th! So if it’s not there on the 12th keep checking back for it.
The link to the blog is here where you can see the most amazing lightning photo.
You can read the mini story about this image and why it was important to me.
Hope you have a great weekend-and ABC! Post your fav image to share here.

The WAG Art Gallery Print
I popped in to see Jeff and Jeffrey at Fleet Gallery last week to pick up my print for the WAG Art4All Event. The original Print was 36″ x 36″ and now that it’s framed it seems positively HUGE! But it does look phenomenal. Ironically, I can’t photograph it too well, I have misplaced my polarizer but the framing is fantastic!Continue Reading
