Got the news today that I’m a FINALIST in the World Photographic Cup! This is fairly shocking since there are only 10 finalists in each category from ALL entrants around the world.
Being in the top 10 landscape photographers from all of Canada, USA, Australia, Europe is too unreal.
When it first pokes over the horizon the full moon looks enormous. A crazy optical illusion that say, but one that mesmerizes us all. Inspired by yesterday’s full moon in the Gemini constellation.

I am laughing out loud. Amongst my parents pics, I found this one that I had given to them in an envelope of others, of my scuba diving trip in the Florida Keys.
My dad was not a flashy guy, he left that up to my mom! But at some point in the early seventies he bought a new car. I think it was his first new car. All the others were used or demos….
I have been going through all those old Kodak carousels – and now I am tackling the albums! Don’s photo has a program where you buy a shoebox (es a real shoebox!) and in it you add all your old print photos and when you return the full box to the store, they will scan all your images and burn them on CD or DVD.
