Thanksgiving & Dentistry
Looks like another glorious autumn weekend is just about here, and it is a LONG one so we have plenty of time to celebrate all the things and people we have in our lives. I suppose the Thanksgiving tradition began (in the US?) because of the harvest and its bounty hence a weekend was set aside to celebrate. But to truly be thankful – no not simply thankful, but grateful I think you really need to make it a daily thing.

In the last fading days of summer, I spent the final day of my 2015 vacation back in the Canadian Rockies overwhelmed by the differences in the light, and the transition to autumn. Well…As I was planning my heli hiking photo excursion I was pulled back to the past 30 year or so. It seems I’d left making my reservation for the night in Banff a little too late.
Mystical mountains up close
When I first visited the mountains as an adult for ski trips many ears ago, I had no idea just how diverse and crazy mountains really are. When I was skiing, the most important part of the mountains was the apres ski at the lodge at the bottom of them! Many rum and eggnogs later I might have gaze out at the view, but the sights were not the main reason to be there in those days.Continue Reading
