Yikes! I’ve been neglecting my “duties” with my updates, but please know I haven’t forgotten about you, far from it – some projects are just so all-consuming I can’t remember what month it is!! But I am back and with summer here the pace is slowing down somewhat…till I leave for my photo tour in the Rockies! I won’t bore you with mundane details but if you are back from a long weekend at the lake and are curious about the parties you may have missed, here are few pics for you.
The Canada Day (July 1) celebrations this past weekend were crazy (!) and a few photo friends and I skipped the maddening crowds and insane traffic and headed over to Buhler Rec Park to catch the fireworks (20 minutes and 17 seconds LOL!) and the reflections over the pond.
Then earlier in the week I was up in the air on a bucket truck taking aerial photos of a grand opening. Fast forward to October and you will have to come visit my exhibition at Flashfest – my women’s photo group is having a month long show at the Millennium Library in Winnipeg. So between the Canada 150 festivities, my vacay, and a few shows openig in the fall, my “dance card” is full as they used to say.
However, this all means more news, photo tips and tricks, and possibly a class or two if there is enough interest. be sure to pop in again and we can catch up more! I won’t ignore you. 🙂
