💙💚 Yes I know- why is a non Valentine’s Day fan writing about it? Well, besides all the contrary reasons, which I’ve elaborated on in earlier posts, I want to let you know that my opinion has softened over the years! Go figure.
I wanted to ramble on about love stories, past loves, present loves and future loves. A bit of kindness in this increasingly unkind world…But instead I am writing a story about my “lover boy” my big Rottie, Baron.
Baron is very sick. The vets are still trying to diagnose him. He’s lost 20 lbs in 4 weeks. He just won’t eat. The meds don’t seem to be working. He is a rescue, and only been with me for 4 short years. But he is 7 and Rotties don’t have a long lifespan. I am distraught.
So now it is Valentine’s Day and i can only be sad. 😥 Its amazing how we can be so connected to our animals. 💛💚💙🐻
