The only really GOOD thing about long winter nights is what you can see in the sky without having to stay up till the early hours of the morning. Don’t get me wrong, I love summer nights too, probably more than anything, but winter nights that begin at 4:30 make it too easy to shoot the night sky.And so it was when I arrived home at about 5:15 pm not long after sundown, when I looked up and saw the half moon, exactly half.
And I was amazed my iPhone was able to capture it so well in the dwindling light.
