In the last fading days of summer, I spent the final day of my 2015 vacation back in the Canadian Rockies overwhelmed by the differences in the light, and the transition to autumn. And I got back in time to watch the super blood moon and eclipse. The entire time away was beyond anything I have done before.
From the Eastern Kootenays to Mount Kidd in Kananaskis Courtly, Alberta it was a true adventure. Next step plan for Yosimite and Death Valley 2016, and (fingers crossed) a trip to the Chilcotin Mountains to view and photograph grizzly bears!
I hope your hot summer days were also filled with sun and fun, and that you got the good shots in before the snow flies. Meanwhile now that I’m back at home, I have a few winter workshops planned and 5 cords of firewood in my driveway!
I’ll have one strange shot of the super moon here tomorrow.
