Once again the Wayne Arthur Gallery has invited my photography collective T.H.E to show our work! This will be the first of 2 shows T.H.E will mount this year, the second being at Great West Life, in February.
I’d love to see you there, here are the details…
Wayne Arthur Gallery, 186 Provencher Boulevard presents
Mirrors & Windows: a photographic exhibition by T.H.E Collective
Saturday, January 31st to Wednesday, February 25
Opening Reception Sunday February 1st, 1 to 4pm
From the press Release:
Over the past two years, members of Through Her Eyes (T.H.E.) Collective have been working under the guidance of Alexandra Morrison, a Winnipeg-based, award-winning nature
photographer. The collective offers a safe environment in which the women discuss photo-based techniques, challenge each others boundaries as artists and learn from each other. Mirrors and Windows is the collective’s second show, images based on Szarkowski’s 1978 thesis about photographers being mirrors or windows – artists whose work is a personal interpretation of the world – or those who offer a window onto the world.
Members of T.H.E. will present one image of each category, based on her interpretation of this theme.

So, please do come by, see what we are all about, show your support for local artists, and enjoy some of the most unique images you’re likely to ever see in Winnipeg! You won’t be disappointed. There will be refreshments and goodies at the Opening.
