Inevitably, the snow will fall. The dark days will also descend on us far too quickly, and winter will be here.
In the last 2 weeks, I experienced scorching summer weather ( it’s still summer somewhere!), the chill of autumn, and the frosty mornings of this inevitable winter, with snow and ice and frozen everything. All in the space of 10 days!
And now I am coming home.
Along the Cross River, Eastern Kootenays. Cool in more ways than one. But no snow – yet.
