Well, I am back home for the moment. Despite the obvious emotional angst, it was a good visit in that bitter-sweet way, and while I know I will be out there again, it’s as if I am on pause, for the time being. A chance to re-charge and prepare for the next step in this journey, perhaps?
But let’s punctuate the sad and depressing with something good and inspiring, shall we? One of my favourite places in Penticton is Munson Mountain. Just a few minute outside of town, it’s a scenic viewpoint and a easy but steep hike. A good hike is a great way to get clear, and to lose the weight of what is troubling you. I made the trek up there on a cold and windy afternoon, but it was worth it.
Not as breathtaking as the summer view but awe inspiring none the less.
