Normally my hikes and walks, with a camera, are through the wilds, off the beaten path in the heart (or close to it) of the wilderness. But on this particular walk, I was on a golf course. This is where my dad golfs and for all the times I have been out there visiting my parents I never once set foot on the course. It’s not far from where they live, a winding and scenic drive up to the mountains and you’re there. So my dad packed his golf bag, and I my gadget bag and off we went to golf. It’s a beautiful place, full of wildlife including marmots, deer, bears, foxes…This was one of my favorite holes. In this instance, Mark Twain was most definitely wrong!
What do you think? Beautiful, yes?
