In the canyon far above the town of Kelowna are some old tunnels.
Part of the KVR (Kettle Valley Railway) now a hiking and biking pathway with 12 or so trestles that span the canyons crazy gorge.
The trestles were mostly destroyed in the stunning forest fires of a few years ago but have since been rebuilt and it is a wonder of architectural know how and perseverance that they exist again today. I’ll write more soon but these last few posts have all been written on my iPhone and cell connection so I don’t have all my usual resources at hand!
Back to the Rockies tomorrow and will hang out above the clouds for another few days. The million dollar view awaits!
Ttfn!
