There’s nothing quite as enjoyable as eating outdoors. With the amazingly hot summer we’re having I decided that the nights were just too gorgeous to waste living indoors. So I over the long weekend I organized a little dinner party, and prepared my favourite summer dishes, chilled some most excellent summer wines (a zippy Moscato among them!), and got out the candles! The night was warm and breezy, no mosquitoes (for the second year in a row!), and the company charming. You know the way it is. Hot, really good food and conversation, lots of laughs. All in the great outdoors under the stars with the moon slowly rising after 11:00 pm. Awesome.
Wish you were here…was playing on the stereo, ah Pink Floyd.
Here’s my deck – the site of many deck parties, by day and by night. The night shots are handheld with the Nikon D800, 1000 ISO, and the lightbulb lens, the 14 – 24 2.8.You can see my tripod – I had it ready “just in case”.
But it wasn’t needed. 🙂
And how did you enjoy this long weekend?
