I’m loving the heatwave – to me this is what a real summer is all about. I’m mostly dedicating my time right now to infrared photography, since with the wonderful skies it’s perfect for IR, and unlike a lot of people I like the heat and want to spend as much time as I can outdoors. Perfect conditions for IR photography! But IR takes a lot of post production time and I am not wanting to waste these days by sitting at a computer all day so the images for you will have to wait! So here is an odd ball photo of a tree with “two trunks.”
I need to do more with it – it’s not the greatest presentation but when the weather gets ugly again i’ll be playing indoors on Photoshop to jazz it up a bit.
What are you doing to beat the heat? If you dread the 30+ temps try sunrise photos, I’m usually up around 5;30 in the summer just cos it’s light outside, and the mornings are glorious. The light is like looking through your glass of breakfast orange juice!
Or try night sky photography. get this app for your iphone – Solar Monitor which will tell you when there will be amazing Northern Lights to shoot. A tutorial on that will be coming out soon.
OK I know how cool you are, so stay cool. 🙂
