I really hate flying…

But I love traveling! I’m in the air this week to the land of golf and honey! Well I guess it’s actually wine and wine, for me. I can now legally bring home BC wine.  Who know that it was illegal to bring wine home to Manitoba from BC. I’ve been doing it for years. Ha hahahah. But now perhaps it won’t be so much fun…

But more important, the southern reaches of interior BC at this time of year are a magnet for photographers me included. Mountain flowers galore, and the desert of Osoyoos is in full bloom. I’ll also be scouting out locations for the Okanagan Infrared Photography workshop 2013. Be sure to contact me to get on the list for this one!  But on this trip I’ll also be doing lots of infrared shooting, as well as using the new Nikon D800 for all of the non-infrared shots. I haven’t had a lot of time to try the D800 out so I am really looking forward to this week. Also hoping to check out some hang gliding while I’m there. 🙂
