Hang in there Baby!

It’s shaping up to be a great weekend to test the formidable Gopro HD video camera!  My hang gliding adventure  is a go for Sunday so I’m super excited and also I might add, with more than a little trepidation! Why would someone like we with a fear of flying  embark on a skyhigh trip on nothing more than a big kite with a lawnmower motor attached to a feeble frame? It’s all for the shot Silly!

Apparently you can let the pilot (yes it’s a flying duo) what level of daring you want to experience. And since this is for video and hopefully also some great still photos – as well as to try to expunge the fear demons from my soul – it needs to be exciting.  Thankfully I can turn the audio off you you needn’t hear any screams of fright.  I want a high thrill factor, of course.

If I crash and burn, I’ll have done it doing what I love. But they say its just like a ride at a carnival. We’ll see, …and so will you!
