Not snow – yet

I took a drive around my neighbourhood (all 250 kilometres of it!) just to see what kinds of interesting subjects I could find close to home.

I loved the bleakness of this shot, and the way the clouds look so creamy. It’s almost like a long exposure shot.  But it’s not.

This was taken using a converted Nikon D70 (Lifepixel version).  I’ll go back to this spot after the snow falls so I can have a comparison between IR “snow” and real snow.
