This looks pretty good…So I can set my camera to Bulb and actually have this remote do timed exposures with intervals…like for star trails? For some reason when I do interval timing on the camera (a bunch of 30 second shots), there’s a delay of between 2 and 3 seconds (and this is with NR turned off). I have no idea why it does this.
Also does the same thing with a remote plugged into the camera and the D300 in continuous drive. I had a play and did it manually every 30 secs, and no gap.

*chuckles* It’s cool.

Sorry about that last comment, I really shouldn’t play with my camera equipment while taking Nyquil, my apologies and you reply was correct, I screwed the Delay setting to cause my situation.

Uh huh, okay, sure.

Close. Set for 5 seconds interval. It will capture a photograph every 5 seconds and every other photograph is for 10 seconds. Truthfully speaking, we would not do that because it could get very confusing to sort all the images from the folder.
PurpleCorvette says
This device is a bit confusing, the manual shows the interval time overlapping the exposure so if you want a shot ever 10secs with an exposure of say 5 secs would your interval than be set to 15secs to achieve this.

Anytime. We believe we will be making a tutorial on how to do time lapses with Nikon Camera Control Pro. But the thing is, we’re not sure how many people actually use it for time lapse since they would need to lug a laptop with them. Not to mention it costs over $100. We’ll see.

@Lilkiwiguy87 Thanks appreciate the reply =)

Unfortunately, no and there is no remotes that allow you to do time lapses with the D3000. Only Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 software can allow you do time lapses but tethered from camera to computer via USB cable.

Will this work on a d3000? O.o if not.. I’m having a little trouble finding something that will allow remote timing for the d3000. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
